  I have suffered with very poor balance for over 50 years since a childhood fall when I hit my head on a wall resulting in loss of hearing in my left ear.
  When I went to Marie for atlas realignment it was for what I thought was an unrelated problem of pain in my left arm and shoulder and numbness in my hand - the result of a repetitive strain injury - which was preventing me from working as a sculptor. She had helped two of my friends and both had benefited from what seemed a simple 20 minute treatment. I wasn't expecting any dramatic improvement but, as a one-off treatment it seemed worth a try. The consultation was a kindly, reassuring hands-on examination of the problem and then about 10 minutes of uncomfortable but not painful treatment. To be honest - I didn't think it could possibly have changed anything. How wrong I was!! I felt about 2 inches taller, my neck and shoulders were mobile again and (amazingly) I could hear in my left ear for the first time since childhood. As for my balance - I felt like I imagine a ballet dancer must feel!! Yes, I did have an uncomfortable series of changes over the first few weeks as my body adjusted but each stage only lasted about 48 hours and all the improvements were lasting. Over 3 years later I have no pains whatsoever in my arm, shoulder or neck, my balance is still good and my hearing - not perfect, but functional. I cannot thank Marie enough for the way she transformed my life.
